Burning sensation

Asked for Male, 29 Years

I am suffring from OSMF from last 3 years and take treatment of lycopene capsules 2-3 months two times. From last 6 months throat irritation is rise and front lower and upper gumes colour has been white with burning sensation. white patches on left and right buccal mucosa. Please suggest me how treat this problem permanantly.

Oral sub mucous fibrosis occurs because of chronic irritation of oral mucosa. Usually avoiding irritant will improve the condition. If you have difficulty in opening mouth and burning sensation in mouth then intra lesional injection of steroid may be helpful. Sometimes even surgery may be required
