Burning and itching sensation recently
I've been diagnosed to have tenia incognito in my forearm . I'm having this infection since 2 and a half years now. Recently on practo I got it diagnosed as tenia incognito. Soo she prescribed me lulican cream and antihistamine. Now I'm using the cream from almost 10 days now and the itching has not reduced and infact a little extra itching has started from 2 days now. Also after the cream is all absorbed and the skin becomes dry, peeling of skin is also occurring a bit (like white white thin membrane). The itching is what has brought me here. It burns a little. Is it normal??

Add some coconut oil in your bath water. Extremely dry skin can also cause itching and delayed response to treatment. Oral antifungals are also needed for treatment of fungal infections. Consult your dermatologist for follow up get another online consultation of it's not relieved after another 10 days

Hello. Antihistamine usually takes care of itching. Cream may have slight burning sensation if applied on very dry skin. In 10 days you should have seen some improvement if an oral antifungal was also given.
Next Steps
Observe for few days, if no improvement then Consult again to previous doctor or go for a new consultation.
