Hello! The picture seems to be that of a second degree burn. I hope you you had washed the burnt area immediately under cool water. Now you have to take care that the blisters don't get burst. Even if they get burst ensure that the skin on top is preserved for quick and better healing. For now you can apply a silver sulfadiazene cream once or twice in a day. Apply this cream with clean hands and a thin layer has to be applied on the affected parts. The complete healing may take 15 to 20 days for second degree burn. In case child is crying in pain ibuprofen syrup may be given for a few days . Dose to be given as per the body weight of the child. Do consult a skin specialist when possible.
