Brown Acne Scars

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I am having brown acne scars on my chin area upto throat. I am on medication since an year but they are not improving much. Neither the skin is getting lighter nor the pigmentation been reduced. Sometimes skin does peel of but the condition is not getting better. I have changed my dermatologist too. What should I opt for now? Should laser will be helpful? Or any other remedy / treatment?

Many treatment options are available for Acne scars and pigmentation which the pimples leave behind after healing. Some creams are available but they are not very effective. Chemical peels can help you reduce the scars and pigmentation but the best treatment is carbon dioxide laser. Carbon dioxide laser resurfascing can improve the scars by about 60 to 80 percent in about 6 sittings. You can consult me online for advice on best treatment option
