Brittle and unhealthy nails

I have nail problem since 15 years. They were fine after I got a baby now they became really worse. Doctors say it is fungal infection . I have tried everything but nothing is working. Please suggest some medicine

Fungal infection of the nail takes at least 6 to 8 months to start showing improvement after treatment. I would need more information on what exact treatment have you taken and for what duration was it taken. However, Mail problem can also be because of other inflammatory conditions like psoriasis, lichen planus,etc. You can get a second opinion from another dermatologist or you can consult online for treatment. However you need to understand that the rate of growth of toe is very slow and regular follow-up will be required because the nail takes more than half a year to start showing response.
