Bright Pink Skin

Asked for Female, 21 Years

Hi, I recently had a wound infection on the side of my face. I took antibiotics and put Mupirocin ointment on it, and it went away. Now, its healed and smooth but the area is still very pink. Its very noticeable on the side of my face and its been that way for almost 2 weeks. I was just wondering if this is ever going to go away or if I have to do anything.
