Hi, I went to a high altitude trek of 15000 feet in a snowy region 4 months back.. but after that, I feel a slight discomfort in breathing, sort of nasal congestion but without cold nor running nose. Like one side is completely blocked and sometimes the other side.. It's doesn't feel like a serious problem, I feel normal.. but there's a slight discomfort at times... What could it be? Please help...

Hii, firstly to confirm wether u have this problem only post trekking or you had it before also (even mild)
It may be normal nasal cycle which causes congestion for sometime and relief for sometime or it may be altitude and pressure related changes
Either case, steam wud help, but definitive management needed which needs detail history

Hello
So before your tracking there was no such problem before???
If it has happened after that only than it may be induced changes in nose due to change in atmosphere.
U can recover by medicines and steam I believe.
Next Steps
Better to take ENT consultation for better understanding and treatment
The normal nasal cycle consist of 6 to 8 hrs in which one nostril only is functioning. Did u have a fall or anything recently. May be due to low oxygen in air u must have realized that only one side is functioning properly.
