Hello. No the fever doesn’t. Please make sure that you keep your face away/covered while breast feeding. Please make sure that you are hydrated and are taking proper medications for the same.

Hi I can fully understand your worry. You can safely breast feed. Provided... you take care of cough hygiene.  Use a mask while feeding baby. Do follow and Subscribe to DrPoonamsvlog on YouTube.. I make small videos on topics that worry parents..

Breast feeding is always beneficial to baby as well as mother; so beyond doubt give exclusive breast feeding to baby

Ur infection which is causing fever n cough is airborne,  is not transferred by breast milk. U continue to breast feed but wear mask, use hand sanitizer while handling baby so chances of infection in baby r reduced

Your baby will have chances of fever .. so try to give formula milk in case of high fever to you.. take precautions while coughing & avoid foods like cold water, cold juices which triggers cough..
