Breast pain treating after stopping feed

Asked for Male, 31 Years

My wife has been giving breastfeed to my daughter past from 17months .now decided to stop feeding from yesterday ,but due to milk production it became so painful and milk clots also observed Please suggest us how to reduce this pain ?do we need to use any tablets to suppress milk production

It's advisable to breastfeed till 2 n 1/2 yrs. Medicine production gradually decreses and there is no need to use medicine For you express milk, take paracetamol for pain and warm compression.
