I have a 1 month old baby. I have inverted nipples due to which my baby doesn't latch on. Have tried but he latch on and ends up crying. So I pump the milk and feed him which is an average of 200ml a day and the rest of the time I feed him Lactogen 1. How do I get him to latch on and secondly how to get more milk.

First of all, congratulations on your baby. I request you to be relaxed. You are doing a wonderful job as a mother, because you are feeding your baby in every possible circumstance inspite of the baby not latching well.
To begin with:
For a baby, just like any human who has not initially struggled to learn latching technique... free and easy food is a comfort. So donot offer your ebm, before baby directly suckling at your breast atleast for 20 minutes. I know its hard, but it needs to be done that way. Make this a habit.
Get the technique right. You will see lots of videos in youtube about latching techniques, different positions to latch etc. Ultimately choose best position fr yourself and your baby. What ever technique you use, make sure, most of the black part of your areola with nipple is inside the baby mouth. Support his back and back side of his neck so that the position doesn't change easily. Keep the baby close to your body and feed him atleast for 20 minutes. Easier said than done, however try it.
Third, is increase the duration you pump, with the frequency to your maximum comfort level ( 4-5times/ day). As the very well known saying goes, mothers milk will increase the more you feed. So if u get this trick, my advice for you would be try feeding baby on one side and pumping simultaneously on another side. It is well known that, this causes a lot of let down for your sucking baby, that way you will have expressed pumped milk too in no time and a satisfied baby in your lap . This takes a lot of hard work, dear. I was there in your state, a year back. But dont give up. Limit baby milk formula as the last reserve, if u feel you are not able to breastfeed your baby well now, but definitely dont starve your baby. You have to feed every 2-3 hrs in a day initial few months. Keep counting the wet nappies to access the hydration status of baby (5-6 / day).iam giving u my first hand advice, as a pediatrician and a fellow mother. If you follow my advice, in few days your milk production will definitely improve, then you can reduce the amount of formula you give to the baby. All the best.
