I have got I and d treatment on4thjan.got removed 250mlof puss in my right breast.got 5days antibiotic tablets should I continue it or not.how many days it will take to heal the wound please suggest

Hello mam.... It's good that u got the I and D done soon, coz that'll heal half of the problem. U have continue the culture sensitive antibiotics for one course after that. The wound will heal over a period of 2-4 weeks by regular dressing, but such kind of secondary healing will definitely cause a bit of scarring. U can consult a plastic surgeon, if not before, atleast after the infection has subsided for revision of the wound and closure to get an as minimum scar as possible.
