Only one BP reading , that too only systolic high cannot be labelled as hypertension. You should have at least 2 BP readings in a week high. First few months is life style modification. Kindly consult online.

A single BP reading will not confirm hypertension. BP should be recorded twice daily for few days following the proper BP recording protocol. At this time you don't need any pharmacological treatment.Follow diet modifications and lifestyle changes that includes physical activities for 30 minutes a day.

Any reading above 140/90 on repeated measurements, is considered hypertensive (high BP). Lifestyle changes are the first line of management. Medications should be used only if not controlled by lifestyle changes after 6 months.
Next Steps
Consult a General Physician
Health Tips
1. Use salt substitues (low sodium salt). Eg, Tata Superlite.
