BP for 58 year old
For the first time in my life Doctor prescribed prolomet XL 50 for my bp of 180/135 but I'm scared of taking high dose hence can I take prolomet XL 25, also my bp is showing this much but there are no symptoms at all, I'm a non diabetic and all blood test normal why is this happening

You may take tab amlosafe A T You are malignant hypertensive so monitor bp daily and dont miss taking medicine Take B P daily for 3 time record it and send on chat of the week Consult on practo

Prolomet XL 50 is in fact a weak drug for you. With your age and your BP you should be getting some better combination. I hope you have had investigations done.

Take prescribed dose it is no way a high dose, looking to your BP higher dose may be needed in combination with other medicine also
