“Hey, I totally get what you’re going through. After delivery, anxiety, mood swings and even a little rise in BP are quite common, especially with less sleep and too much phone use. 135/90 is just borderline, so don’t stress, but we should keep an eye on it. Ashwagandha is okay, but before you start Mukta Vati it’s better if I check your case properly—post-delivery your body is a bit sensitive, so we’ll choose what’s safest for you. With the right guidance in food, lifestyle and some simple Ayurvedic support, your BP and anxiety can both settle down. You can book a consult with me—I’ll make you a simple, personalized plan to help you feel calmer and more confident again.”

Your BP rise seems more related to post-delivery anxiety than permanent hypertension. Ashwagandha is fine for calming. Mukta Vati may help, but needs to be taken only after proper evaluation, as dose differs per person. With Ayurveda medicines, diet & lifestyle correction, both anxiety & BP can be managed safely. I suggest you consult me for a personalized plan.

Your bp could be becuase of anxiety triggered due to basic nutritional deficiencies.  Justvtaking mukta vati is not going to address the root cause.   You can seek consultation for proper guidance

Yes.... U are the proper case and good light for Sutika Paricharya.... 1. Increased blood pressure after delivery 2. Generalised anxiety disorder 1. Generalised anxiety disorder - already u r suffering with Vata prakopaka condition 2. During your delivery - continuous straining for baby for normal delivery or cessearian surgery will make the women more stressful and tired and exertion which again results in increased harmones in your body - which actually changes ur body - Consider this increased blood pressure after delivery and post delivery period under SOOTIKA AVASTHA ( AN IMPORTNANT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR OUR BODY AFTER DELIVERY FOR ALL LADIES) WHERE POST DELIVERY WOMEN ENTERS INTO VATA PRAKOPA AVASTHA. Step 1 - Take rest and meditation first and involve in spiritual mantras and homas to clear negative thoughts and anxiety Step 2 - You are in a period of breast feeding - consider only herbal medications upto 3-4 months of ur breast feeding instead of going into metallic ayurvedic preparations Step 3 - Please contact AYURVEDIC PRASUTI DEPARTMENT for prevention of post delivery complications Step 4 - Please contact AYURVEDIC GYNECOLOGIST before using medications on your own

I understand your concern — elevated BP with anxiety after delivery can feel very unsettling. Let’s break this down: --- ### 🔹 Why BP is slightly high after delivery 1. **Anxiety & stress** – constant “fight or flight” state can keep diastolic (the 90) persistently raised. 2. **Hormonal changes** – post-delivery, estrogen & progesterone drop, which can affect mood and BP regulation. 3. **Lack of rest, sleep disturbance, mobile overuse** – overstimulates the nervous system. 4. **Generalised Anxiety Disorder history** – makes BP rise during health worries. 👉 Since your systolic (120–135) is not very high, but diastolic (90) is constant, this looks more **anxiety-driven BP elevation**, not primary hypertension. --- ### 🔹 About Ashwagandha * **Good for anxiety, sleep, and stress**. * Current dose (Himalaya Ashwagandha 2 morning + 2 night) is a bit **on the higher side** (usual is 1–2 tabs/day). High dose may cause gastric upset or excessive drowsiness in some. --- ### 🔹 About Divya Mukta Vati Extra Power * Mainly for **mild–moderate hypertension**, especially if linked with anxiety & stress. * Contains herbs like Brahmi, Shankhpushpi, Mukta pishti → calming, BP stabilising. **How to take (general guideline used in Ayurveda practice):** * Start with **1 tablet after lunch** daily. * If tolerated well and BP remains high, can increase to **1 tablet twice daily**. * Safe to use along with Ashwagandha, but better to **reduce Ashwagandha to 1 tab morning + 1 tab night** to avoid heaviness. --- ### 🔹 Extra lifestyle support * **Limit mobile use**: Fix screen-time cut-off before bed. * **Breathing practice**: 5-10 min of slow deep breathing (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) twice a day → lowers anxiety & BP. * **Walking/yoga**: 20–30 min daily. * **Diet**: Avoid excess tea, coffee, fried/oily, spicy foods → they worsen both anxiety & BP. * **Sleep**: Maintain fixed sleeping time. --- ### ✅ Suggested plan * Morning: Ashwagandha 1 tab. * After lunch: Mukta Vati Extra Power 1 tab. * Night: Ashwagandha 1 tab. * Continue for 4–6 weeks → recheck BP. If still persistent above **140/90**, you should get checked by your physician to rule out thyroid, anemia, or post-partum hypertension (rare but possible). --- 👉 Your elevated BP is very likely **secondary to anxiety + post-delivery stress** rather than a permanent BP disease. With calming herbs, lifestyle changes, and anxiety management, it usually settles. Would you like me to also suggest **a specific Ayurvedic daily routine (Dinacharya)** that balances both anxiety and BP post-delivery? Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.
