Asked for Male, 32 Years

I recently got diagnosed with t.b in my spine L/5 S1 level and the Doctor has prescribed me Akt 3 along with streptomycin injection daily for 3 months ! I discussed with a friend of mine who ia an orthodontist and he said I can be treated with Akt4 and I dont really need the injections if I dont have any history of t.b (which I dont) . I am caught in a fix ! I dont want to take injections uselessly for 3 straight months if oral medicines can do the trick . Pls tell me what is advisable . Thanks
