Boils on my head

From past 1 and a half year, some portion of my head has this small bubble like boils they are some times itchy but I never had any problem with them. But whenever I have a haircut they are visible to everyone and my head looks bad and these days I guess due to summer they are expanding a bit .. I need help what is this and how to cure
