Hello doctor, I am thinking about buying a blood sugar checking devise for home. I am overwhelmed by the devices available in the market. Please advise me what kind of devise is better to buy for home testing, easy to use, and with least error. Also if I buy one what are the best practices around using them. Dear Sir Yes there are many devices. It depends on how often you check and how much you are willing to pay. There are devices where no needles are required too ( except to calibrate the machine). Will need history on medications and other medical conditions and recent blood tests you have.
