Hello my doctor prescribed me telma 20 and metxl 25 for high blood pressure and high heart rate but as my bp came under control he said me to stop telma and continue metxl iam monitoring my bp daily it is showing 100/70,110/65 so can I take metxl because I heard that it also lower the bp

It lowers the BP but in your case BP is normal when you are taking Metxl. So you should continue the medicine.

Do check your BP And Pulse rate at frequent intervals . If it’s persistently low then you will have to taper and stop the beta blocker.
