Hi,
There is blood leaking from sides of tongue since a month. No pain and no irritation.Rinsing warm salt water 4-5 times a day.Using Nystatin oral drops 1ml 4 times a day but still bleeding.
Can see blood on tongue but sometimes unable to locate where it's coming from but there is blood on sides of tongue and also there are little lines on sides of tongue which are painless.
Back on sides and deep end of tongue there are some bright red sores but there are not bleeding and are painless.
Getting worried since 1 month.
Is this anything serious issue?
I live in Sydney and there's no proper treatment here.went to Gp thrice and dentist twice but no proper medication is given.Kindly please help me with this.

Blood maybe from gums. If your dentist and gp havent found anything, there might not be anything to worry about.
Avoid hot or warm water. Cold helps arrest bleeding. If you do not have any problems in your mouth, it might be advisable to check your blood counts. Run a cbc and peripheral smear. The sores you see on the back of your tongue may be circumvalate papillae which people mistake for sores.
