Blood infection CRP 17.6
Hello doctor, My son is 3 years old. Weight is 12.360 kgs. He has been suffering from fever for five days. On the first day temp is 104 F. From second day temperature is normal. Sometimes fever is 100 . He is active. Today we got his blood reports. CRP in his blood is 17.6 is it very serious? Dr told to admit. As he is active , I asked Dr to prescribe medicine. So he prescribed Cefpodoxime proxetil 50mg/5mL  along with paracetamol syrup. Do I have admit

Hi. If the child is active and eating well, then you can wait for 1-2 days. CRP tills bacterial infection, nothing serious
