Blood in urine
Hi doctor, My mother (Age 65) has liver cirhossis for 1 year and on medications since it was diagnosed. She was doing fine until yesterday she started seeing blood in her urine. She is also experiencing nausea, loss of appetite and weakness. Please guide. What could be the problem?

Cirrhosis liver is known to cause bleeding tendencies. Blood in urine may be a part of that process. Please consult a Gastroenterologist in your area.

According to your sign and symptom of your mother she is suffering from bleeding for urine known as hematuria. you should take consultation for best diagnosis and best  diagnosis depend on complete history of patient so give complete history to a doctor.
Next Steps
you should go test for CBC ,ESR, blood coagulation profile ,KFT ,urine analysis and LFT to find the exact reason of that hematuria.
