Hello everyone,
Ten years ago, my mother experienced painless bleeding during bowel movement. It happened only once, with bright red blood in the stool, and then stopped completely without any medication.
However, about a month ago, the same issue occurred again. This time, it happened for two consecutive days. There was no pain, but she did experience itching in the rectal area. We consulted a general physician, who prescribed Clavam 625. She took it for three days, and the symptoms resolved.
Today, she again noticed blood in her stool. She does not have any underlying medical conditions except for
thyroid issues, which are well controlled. She does not take any other medications. According to her, her bowel movements are regular, and the blood appears after passing stool and is bright red in color.
We are mildly worried. Could you please suggest what steps we should take next?
Thank you.
