Hello. Blood in stool is suggestive of stomach infection. So, before starting any antibiotic, please get a stool routine and stool culture& sensitivity done. In meantime , the child needs to be given some probiotics and other supportive management.
ORS, plenty of fluids. No milk till loose stool settles. Watch for his hydration.
Next Steps
consult a pediatrician directly for full history and complete management.
