Blood get thickens/clot
Hi
From last 2-3 time whenever my father gave sample of blood for test like CBC. Blood get thicker/clot in tube.
Please suggest reasons or test to identify the cause & remediate it.

May be there isn't anticoagulant in the tube else even if blood is thick it won't cogulate in the tube with anticoagulant

It can be artifact due to defective tube reagent
