Bleeding during and after sex with clots

Hi, I'm a 17 year old female. I'm on Yasminelle birth control and have been for about 10 months. Today, I started bleeding heavily during sex with my boyfriend and 9 hours later, I'm still bleeding moderately. I noticed one moderately sized blood clot and one very small one. Bleeding during and after sex has happened to me once before but it wasn't as heavy and I didn't experience any clots. Do you know what could be wrong?
