Blake pouch cyst of 4*2 mm found in L1
Blake pouch cyst of 4*2 mm found in L1 USG test at 13 week No other abnormalities. Double marker test is also normal. 1.So do we need to worry about anything...? 2. Will it be removed automatically in later pregnancy...? 3.And if we go to other scan then should we go in 16 week or 20 week and to which one (previous Radiologist or to Fetal expert.)

It is a transient finding in Sonography. The cyst appears in the twelfth week and disappears by 14 weeks. You should get a sonography done again after 2 weeks, preferably by the same Sonologist. Even if it is seen again it only needs a reassessment during TIFFA. In that case an MRI will be done after consultation with a paediatric Neurologist when the baby is about 6 weeks old.
