Black patches

Asked for Male, 56 Years

Complaints of itching initially, reddishness then black patches forms in both the legs only...not in any other parts of the body...now it has become almost 10 patches...what could be the problem??? He took antifungals and applied steroid ointments...it settled but problem shoots up then and there...diagnosis plz!! And how to control it?
