Black Fungus Post Covid
Hi Doctor I was covid positive a 1.5 month ago... was not on steriods .. neither I'm immuno compromised state... are we still under the risk of this particular fungal infection. As on nd off I do get headache and I'm afraid what should we do. Mine was mild covid.. (took Ivermectin and anti flu ..)

Hello mam happy to help you Don’t worry about mucormycosis just keep doing saline gargles proper diet and breathing exercises for better recovery! Wish you all the best Don’t worry you are not at all at risk! Still be vigilant if you get any side effect that is headache, blurring of vision,face swelling and nasal discharge, lose teeth! No u are not under the risk of fungal infection. They are generally seen in pt having high blood sugar level,irrational use of steroids,immunocompromised pt,pt on humidifier oxygen.
