This is me on behalf of my mother who's in her late 40s and is a housewife doing regular household chores in an everyday basis. since last year perhaps, she's having itchy skin at the toe & finger tips which when she itches, cracks up and gradually the whole spot turns black like all the cells are dead in that area. nowadays its spreading into her hands and feet and it pains a lot in those sensitive portions that has inner epidermis revealing. is it atlete's foot or eczema or something else?

You may be suffering from hand and foot eczema which is a kind of irritant contact dermatitis due to use of detergents during washing of clothes or utensils. Cracks and thickened skin on palms can also be due to psoriasis. Please avoid detergent for some time. You can call me or do online consult with photos for detailed prescriptions and other instructions to reduce the recurrence.
