Hi doctor,
my brother is a patient of bipolar disorder earlier he used to take medication (past one year) but now he is not taking any medication.
"he says leave me" i don t have any one i am an orphan. and he behaves aggressively. also
some time i will became impatient how to bring him to the hospital.
and how to deal with my brother he is not understanding about his health condition and acts as a mad person. please advise. we are in Hyderabad.

This is the depression phase of bipolar disorder. His medications need to be changed. I guess he needs to be admitted if he refuses medicines. Contact Ur psychiatrist.

Yes, It is difficult to accept and handle people with Bipolar.
As you said, he ends to Co to use his medicines and also some counseling regularly.
I would suggest you to consult the same Dr and explain him the condition of your brother and the situation at home.
He might prescribe medicines accordingly.
