Bipolar disorder
I have type 2. Doctor gives me lithium and I feel sluggish after taking that. Insomnia comes up if I skip medicine. Please help. What to do? I don't want to take medicines. Should I go for cognitive behavioral therapy?

CBT helps and has a good research evidence for treatment of bipolar type 2... However it is important to take medicine . It is not advisable to stop medication against doctors advice. The best mode of treatment is to start with therapeutic intervention with a trained psychotherapist and slowly reduce medication under advice.
