General rule of thumb for Consultations for most mental health conditions are: 1. Assessment consultation lasting 30-60 minutes depending on complexity of case. Followed with brief session to discuss the diagnosis/prognosis/treatment. My charges starting from Rs 200 for online consultation to Rs 1000 for in-person face to face Consultation; 2. Family Consultation with patient and carers (with patient's consent) lasting 30-60 minutes depending on the complexity of case and carers queries/expectations. Information about the condition and treatment discussed and written information is provided. Psychiatric report prepared after the assessment is discussed for any amendments as it is an important document. Again my charges as noted under point 1 above; 3. First review Consultation after 2-4 weeks preferably online lasting 15-20 minutes to assess improvement/tolerance to medication/side effects. My charges for review Consultation Rs 100; 4. All subsequent reviews depending on patient/carers request preferably online lasting 15-20 minutes and charges Rs 100.
