Hi, Biotin is a B complex vitamin involved in various metabolic activities in the body. Biotin deficiency can cause hair loss, nail changes, skin rash etc. If you are a breastfeeding mother you can always supplement your diet with biotin rich foods like eggs, almond, cauliflower, sweet potato etc. If you are actually diagnosed or suspected with the deficiency then yes you can take daily supplements for a few weeks after consulting your obstetrician. Thank you
