Biopsy or Pet Scan
I had soft tissue attenuation lesion and many lung nodules largest 9mm in my CT scan .. My lung broncospy test was done in which biopsy sample was taken.. The report came normal.. Do I Still need to get a Pet Scan? Or should I just leave it? Please reply

Pl observe the Nodules.what is the biopsy report. Pl specify.pet scan not needed. Pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Depends on many things.. your symptoms, nature of nodules, lymph node status , progression of disease. Pet scan can be avoided as of now, but definitely repeat ct scan needed after 3 months to see how your nodules are behaving!
