Billirubin level increased
My baby is born on 23 Aug and was diagnosed jaundice in 4 day at 15.6 than phototherapy is given to him on 4 and 5 day which decreased bilirubin to 13 and on 6 DAY WE shifted to home from hospital. But when I came for a check-up on 9 day levels was 20.2 . What can be reason for dis . Mother's blood group is o+ and child blood group is b+

Apart from what my esteemed friends have said ABO incompatibility may be another reason. So consult your neonatologist and get her/ his blood group and DCT test done.

Its normal for it to rebound. G
Next Steps
Itz quite normal for bilirubin to rebound. Give phototherpay. Kindly give good breastfeeding and it should go away

Ohhh. Relax. Phototherapy again. Could be a breast milk jaundice.
