New born jaundice
Hi doc ,my baby is 3.60 gm's she is 5 days old and she is 38w 6 days born her bilirubin levels are 17.71 is it normal ..I'm breast feeding her daily about 8-10 times and she passes urine about 8 times approx and stools also about 5 times mustard yellow...is she having jaundice higher levels are it's in normal level

I would advise you to repeat after 12 hours, if the jaundice is still increasing, child needs phototherapy.
Also you need to investigate for ABO Rh incompatibility.
If jaundice persists longer, I would advise to investigate for G6PD as well.
