Biliary atresia infant

Asked for Female, 28 Years

My friends daughter was detected with biliary atresia after 2 weeks of birth. She went through a Kasai treatment operation. But still jaundice level is there in her body. Could you please suggest a good doctor with accurate treatment.

Definate treatment of Biliary atresia is Liver transplantation..thru Kasai operation we just to buy time for liver transplantation.. surgery response or prognosis depends on many factors..and this surgery is not routine one..so either follow for treating Surgeon or opinion from Paediatric surgeon or GI Surgeon doing this type of surgeries
