Esophageal Atresia is a Developmental defect.Certain malformations may occur during the process of organ formation. It can't be detected before birth with definitive evidence. However it can be corrected by Surgery. There is nothing like if one baby has EA, the 2nd baby will also have....So nothing to worry.
