Understanding that duchenne muscular dystrophy is a progressive disease your muscles strength will be lesser than others due to lack of dystrophin protein which reduces the capacity of regeneration of the muscle fibres, in a cycle when a person exercises his muscles fibers break are and re generate with more thickness and number but  the capacity of this cycle is less in your case I suggest not to over stress maintain whatever strength you have do more eccentric exercise and isometric exercise focus on hip muscles, pelvic floor muscles and more on breathing exercises

You have to do hip flexor stretching,hamstring stretching,calf stretching,iliotibial band stretching, forearm stretching, lying achilles stretching, wrist extension, finger stretching and you can do stationary cycling etc but you should do all exercises under guidance of a physiotherapist

Week 1 Each hold 20–30 sec × 2 repetitions Hamstring stretch (lying or seated) Hip flexor stretch (lying, one leg bent up) Calf stretch (with towel around foot) Shoulder abduction stretch Elbow & wrist flexion–extension Passive or Assisted Movements Ankle circles Knee bends and straightening Shoulder circles Wrist and hand mobility Diaphragmatic breathing Avoid long sitting in same position Use side-lying to prevent contractures Gentle standing with support (if able) for a few minutes daily Hydrotherapy For better treatment and diagnosis please consult online
