Hi my father is 70 years old and suffering from cerebral atropy on past few months his behaviour ia getting weird.he will say bad things to family.memebr and will get stubborn and if we try to couunsel hr start crying get sensative that everyone is scolding him .He is Doctor and dont want to take pshycatric medicine.Not able to force him for clinic

Hello Dear, I can empathize with you...Your father being a doctor himself helped so many and now he requires it...I advise you to talk to a family physician to persuade  him about visit to a Psychiatrist..Also you can discuss with any Psychiatrist for Home visit...That will help..kindly don't waste time to counsel him if his behavior continues  and take help of a Professional...It could be Dementia, Late onset Psychosis?..But first get a Consultation done..
