Bed sore stage 3 from last 2 months
My dad is suffering from pot spine and bed sore developed i sacrum region because of no mobility, we are doing dressing daily first we wash it with bitadine and then neosporin ointment and sometimes we wash it with hydrogen as well But in starting 15 days it started healing good but now it has become very slow He is diabetic but diabetes is less than 200 And mostly under 180 I am Attaching a picture of it as well please suggest something that would help to heal it faster

  Diabetes and geriatric age group take longer time n difficult to heal.If being bedridden continues there is a chance of  developing more bed sores in future.

1, Take up some physiotheurapy to get him  up n  about ,if his condition permits. 2, Discuss pros n constipation of skin grafting with  a general surgeon . but  morbidity will be more for surgery and anaesthesia for him.

Use air mattress for rest for your dad. Maintain postural care (frequent posture change). The wound has healed completely, but skin regeneration is awaiting. It can be helped by skin grafting (consult Plastic Surgeon for it).

As the wound seems like better to undergo debridement/ resurfacing the edges then suturing. Else it will take much more time. Use mupirocine ointment. Use air bed and side changing every 2hrly if bedridden
