But on the basis of this history the only possible diagnosis seems to be Alopecia areata where minoxidil will hardly work. You need proper treatment which may include topicals, oral as well as injectibles.

This could be Alopecia areata..After proper examination only medicines can be prescribed...Minoxidil will not help much in Alopecia areata

This is an autoimmune disorder where ur own immune response starts killing ur own hair cells
And u can get patchy hairloss. So to control ur immune response we need to suppress ur immunity. Deciding upon it we can plan further management.
