BCG lump, pus is generating
Hi Doctor,
My baby is 39 days old, and today we observed that in BCG lump pus is generated. Attached the photo. What can I do to now to the wound?

Its normal...in some baby there is such kind of reaction seen but nothing to do....

BCG vaccines reaction is normal at this age.
Look for axillary lymphedenopathy( swelling under arm) or fever. If it is there, then needed evaluation. Otherwise its normal, this will burst and bcg scar will develop.

BCG reaction is normal in all children. But this looks a big one. Can be BCG adenitis. Take your baby for a direct consultation with a pediatrician
