About lump and redness after BCG vaccine
My baby girl is 2 months old bcg vaccine was given at the time of birth on  21/12/2024 but from past 3 days there is a lump and redness on the area where the vaccination was given and she is doing well there is no fever and  pain. l also attached the photo, please let me know if there is any concern.

The usual reaction for BCG vaccination includes formation of a small lump which usually ulcerates at around 6 weeks. Just watch for this. Nothing is to be done if baby is otherwise well.

Dear parents, BCG vaccination given at birth is taken up After 6weeks Get formations of nodule,pustule and than rupture leaving a ulcer which heals by own in 6weeks.only to do is When pustule rupture And pus comes Clean with Luke warm water 2 times a day.
