Any kind of panchakarma treatment will not be done in any kind of infections.. Because usually along with infection fever will be there which is a contraindication for panchakarma treatment..

If you have infection currently , please do not undergo any uttara vasti procedures as you may get infection flared up . Yes uttara vasti or even hsg like procedures can Spread to entire pelvic region which is called PID . Firstly the infection has to be controlled and stopped completely and at least give a gap of 1 month post which under high sterile precautions this vasti can be done . It s very effective for uterine conditions provided it is to be done based on patient s condition in a very hygienic manner to deliver good results .
