Hi,
The major cause of bad breath is tartar and other deposits on your teeth.
Next Steps
You should get a 'Teeth cleaning' done and followed by that you should use a refreshing Mouthwash of your taste which cleans and refreshes your breath. Please take Alcohol free mouthwash (i.e.Colgate Plax or Hexidine) and use it twice a day after brushing your teeth. Please avoid food for 30 minutes after mouthwash.
Health Tips
As a young fellow, you should get your teeth cleaning done every 6 months to 1 year for healthy teeth and gums. And don't forget to clean your tongue too.
Get your scaling and polishing done to clean your teeth and prevent gum problems. However if despite good oral hygiene if you still have bad breath then you have to rule out other causes of bad breath like acidity and stomach problems or sinusitis, blocked nose and mouth breathing etc
