Bad breath problem
When I talk with my mouth, a bad smell comes out, it is worse when I am on an empty stomach, I can't talk in front of anyone, it feels strange, I saw a doctor and had it scaled, but he said it could be from the liver, so it hasn't been possible to see a gastrologist yet, I brush my teeth twice a day, what kind of treatment will make it go away completely, I want to talk to everyone with a smile.

Bad Odor from mouth can be due to reasons outside of oral cavity too like recurrent viral/sinusitis, constipation or other gastrointestinal diseases like Irritable bowel syndrome etc. Within oral cavity, gum disease ,cavities, dry mouth etc can cause bad odor. Excessive consumption of certain strong smell foods like raw onion, garlic ,fish etc can also cause bad breadth. And last of all certain medications can too cause it . Please visit dentist who would take care of oral part and a general physician or Gastrointestinal consultant for the medical part . Please be rest assured ,it just a symptom ,once the cause is determined, it will be sorted. Hope that helps!

Most common causes of bad breath (halitosis): Tongue coating (very common) – bacteria on the back of the tongue Gum disease / plaque deposits (even after scaling, can recur) Dry mouth (worse on empty stomach → less saliva → more smell) Food debris between teeth Less commonly: sinus/throat issues or gastric reflux Why it’s worse on an empty stomach: Saliva acts like a natural cleanser. When you’re fasting or dehydrated → less saliva → more odor-producing bacteria
Next Steps
Visit a dentist again for a detailed gum evaluation. If everything dental is truly normal, then consult a Gastroenterologist to rule out acid reflux (GERD) or stomach-related causes

Hello Any difficulty in swallowing or sore throat or cough and cold ongoing since many months? Any symptom of acid reflux or heartburn or taste change/metallic taste throughout the day? Any other symptom do you observe daily like frequent thirst?frequent urination? If not, Clean tongue properly not vigorously so that it is not coated. Use benzydamine chlorhexidine mouthwash and gargle. And you ll have to learn proper brushing technique, effective brushing is important to remove plaque so as to keep mouth free from odour producing bacteria.
Next Steps
If cough and cold and difficult swallowing, antibiotics will help you with infection. If acid reflux symptoms positive, visit gastroenterologist.
Health Tips
Drink lots of water. If your mouth still feels dry,use moisturizing mouthwash(like saleva or wet mouth) to keep the mouth sufficiently hydrated.
