My mother is facing too much problem.
She is not willing to trust her own family members.
Her changes in behaviour is getting worst.
We tried enough to take her to psychiatric but she's not willing to come
She always claims she's fine & nothing happened to her.
Please suggest what can I do??

Hi
Need to know your moms age and if there’s hereditary of Alzheimer’s, Dementia or any other mental issues. Since when has this started
Next Steps
It is sometimes difficult to acknowledge that there is an issue. Telling her again and again that she has a problem will make her more defensive and reluctant to seek help. Telling her that you agree with her and would like to understand her better will help. Since you say she has trust issues it will be difficult for her to believe this too but you can shoe her through your performance. Next time she shows mistrust don’t go against her, even if she is wrong, rather talk to her more about it.
You can contact me on Practo I could help you with suggestions which will help you to put her at ease and then gradually we can convince her for counselling and other treatment.

Talk to experienced doctor online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Probably, what she feels about her family members are because of some past experience and she had developed those opinions about them.
According to her experience she is right..
If she is unwilling to meet a psychiatrist, you can suggest her to consult a psychological Counselor..
Maybe, true, that she do not require any medical treatment instead few sessions of therapy will bring in her some clarity..

Thank you for sharing. Try talking to a psychologist with regard to this. They will be able to help guide you better. They will also let you know if psychiatric intervention is required or not.
