Bacterial infection review

Asked for Female, 22 Years

Had a fever for more than 3-4 days, & been diagnosed wherein doctor stated that it is not a viral infection but bacterial infection as per the blood test report My wbc count came to be 10500/cmm wherein normally recommended is between 4000-11000 And the platelet count is 2.21 lakh/cmm where again it can lie between 1.5 to 4.5 Please let me know what exactly is the issue. Thanks
