My sister had back pain issue since 1year. She is unmarried. We consulted a Orthopedician and they conducted MRI scan and stated that take rest for 6months.. It will get normal.
In the report it shows that "Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy at L4 -L5."
Does it set after rest ? Or should she go for a surgery..

Rest for 6monrhs is not something recommended now. If she has only back pain, then physiotherapy to build back muscle and core muscle strength is necessary. Since she has ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, if this is causing her leg pains or left heaviness, then surgery is an option to be considered.
